Board Nominees 2024

Two (2) member elected Board Director positions were made available in 2024:

1. A livestock producer involved in the cattle industry
2. A livestock producer involved in the sheep or cattle industries or a livestock industry professional.

Nominations received for position 1 (A livestock producer involved in the cattle industry) were:

• Lachie Seears, Conmurra SA
• Timothy Burvill, Balhannah SA

Nominations received for position 2 (A livestock producer involved in the sheep or cattle industries or a livestock industry professional) were:

• Bill Bascomb, Elliston SA
• Anthony (Harry) Jachmann, Loxton SA
• Mary Rowe, Coolillie SA

Successful nominees will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on 7 November 2024. Click here to register.

On 18 October 2024, you will receive an email from an independent polling agency ‘TrueVote’ enabling you to vote on director appointments to the Livestock SA Board.

In addition to director voting, the ballot includes a question enabling you to confirm your membership of the new company, ‘Livestock SA Limited’, to ensure there is no interruption to your membership status and benefits post 1 January 2025 when the organisation will complete the transition from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee. As a company limited by guarantee, members must agree to guarantee the operations of the company to a limit of $1. Note: this does not require you to pay any money to the organisation.
