Voting for the Livestock SA board director positions is now open.
Livestock SA members can now cast your vote for the nominees in two available positions:
Position 1 (A livestock producer involved in the cattle industry):
- Lachie Seears, Conmurra SA
- Timothy Burvill, Balhannah SA
Position 2 (A livestock producer involved in the sheep or cattle industries or a livestock industry professional):
- Bill Bascomb, Elliston SA
- Anthony (Harry) Jachmann, Loxton SA
- Mary Rowe, Coolillie SA

Voting closes at 5:00 pm ACDT on 4 November 2024.

In addition to director voting, the ballot includes a question enabling you to confirm your membership of the new company, ‘Livestock SA Limited’, to ensure there is no interruption to your membership status and benefits post 1 January 2025 when the organisation will complete the transition from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee. As a company limited by guarantee, members must agree to guarantee the operations of the company to a limit of $1. Note: this does not require you to pay any money to the organisation.
