2024 Shearing and Wool Program

SCAA training is shed-based and designed to give you real-world, hands on training taught by leading industry trainers.

​They hold intensive 1 and 2 week Shearing Schools throughout the year at various venues across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania - refer to the program below.

The Novice and Improver Shearing and Woolhandling Courses are designed for learners and improver shearers to provide a solid introduction to the Wool Harvesting industry & create a pathway to obtaining ongoing employment. Participants will be issued a nationally recognised Qualification or Statement of Attainment upon completion of the Course.

Graduates are highly sought after due to the high level of training, leading to excellent employment outcomes.
