Preparing a boot wash box or footbath

Asking visitors to clean and disinfect their boots as they arrive to your property, particularly if they are going into your production zones, can help minimise the risk of an incursion.

It is easy to make your own boot wash box using a sturdy plastic box, hoof pick and scrubbing brush to help remove foreign material, and a disinfectant agent.
