Growing SA launches livestock and grain AgTech Pitch
Nominations are open for Growing SA’s first AgTech pitch, seeking technology that can be adopted by grain or livestock producers in South Australia. The AgriFutures EvokeAg AgTech Pitch will see five finalists chosen to tell the Growing SA audience why their technology is the most adaptable for South Australian livestock or grain producers. Grain Producers SA Chief Executive Officer Brad Perry said the audience will vote and decide on the best pitch. “This year we are bringing innovation into the heart of Growing SA through the AgriFutures EvokeAg AgTech Pitch where the winner will receive a prize totalling more than $4,000,” he said. “We are encouraging AgTech businesses to nominate to take part in the pitch as long as they can identify how South Australian grain or livestock producers can adopt their technology.” Livestock SA Chief Executive Officer Travis Tobin said there are a lot of innovative technology providers playing an important role in agriculture. “Innovative technology is changing the way producers do business and through the AgTech Pitch at Growing SA, the audience will be able to see some of this innovation first-hand,” he said. “Livestock and grain producers are directly involved in choosing the AgTech Pitch winner as they will be voting live after the pitches at Growing SA.” Applications are open to:
