Livestock producers invited to have their say about industry priorities

Livestock SA has released its 2022 Producer Priorities Survey to capture and prioritise issues that matter to South Australia’s livestock producers.

CEO Travis Tobin said the annual survey was a key part of Livestock SA’s work as it helped the cattle, sheep and goat peak producer bodies to better advocate for and develop policy and submissions on behalf of all South Australian livestock producers.

“Understanding producers’ key issues and what they would like to see Livestock SA focus on for the coming year is fundamental to ensuring we can successfully represent them,” he said.

“The annual survey is an effective and efficient way for us to take the pulse of our industry so we can drive the policies and programs that will enhance the productivity and sustainability of our producers.

“All South Australian cattle, sheep and goat producers are encouraged to complete the survey and are automatically entered into a draw to win a $500 fuel voucher.”
