The 2022 GROWING SA Conference will be held on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 August at the Adelaide Hills Convention Centre, Hahndorf.
After a three-year hiatus, GROWING SA is back!
This year’s GROWING SA event will be the BIGGEST yet … with the industry’s annual general meetings on Monday afternoon and a conference dinner celebrating the region’s fine produce and providing networking opportunities with producers and industry representatives from all industries across the state.
Tuesday will offer a full day of plenary speakers, attracting local and national guests to stimulate discussion and introduce new ideas.
South Australian primary production is a multi-billion, growth industry with exciting investment opportunities. It is comprised of thousands of family-owned, multi-generational businesses who are proudly South Australian but exporting quality food and fibre to the world. It is renowned globally for its clean and green environment and its world leading production status.
The GROWING SA Conference is an opportunity for primary producers to hear the latest in policy development, farm business advice and commodity research while networking with each other and industry service providers and policy decision-makers.
Through its sessions and social functions, the conference provides:
- The latest policy and farm business information to help producers boost productivity and profitability.
- An update for growers on the important work of the R&D and policy levy-funded organisations to which they contribute.
- An opportunity for producers, industry service providers and stakeholders, politicians and policy-makers from across SA to engage in dialogue regarding policy issues and network at a once-a-year event
Through a range of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, the event invites industry partnership in order to feature a range of speakers including policy and farm business speakers. Together, the conference hosts, industry and producers collaborate to profile primary production in SA and the powerhouse industry it is for SA’s economy.
