‘Bringing Re-Gen to the Next-Gen’ is a capacity building project for the Limestone Coast that will help thirty livestock farmers and advisors explore the key concepts of regenerative agriculture.
The program will be collaboratively designed and delivered to include education modules, field days, open gate farm tours and online forums to establish farmer networks in regenerative methods.
BRINGING RE-GEN TO THE NEXT-GEN
Who we’re looking for: Thirty farmers (managers and other staff), farm advisors or agricultural professionals who produce red meat, milk or wool, with a desire to learn, challenge and change.
When: the project will be delivered between November 2019 and June 2021.
How: At our first planning workshop on 14 November 2019 you’ll decide what topics are covered and how they are delivered. It is anticipated that 8 to 10 workshops and group activities will be coordinated to cover relevant topics. You’ll be supported to develop your own project and to implement it on-farm.
