The next Livestock SA Southern Region meeting will be held in Keith on Wednesday April 11 at the Keith Golf Club. A BBQ tea will be provided, thanks to the support of Rabobank.
Southern Region chairman Peter Stock said the meeting would provide a valuable opportunity for local producers to come together.
Headlining the meeting will be a presentation from Thomas Foods International’s Ben Davies on how the company is mapping out its future, particularly after fire ravaged its Murray Bridge abattoir in January.
The agenda for the meeting will also include updates on the SA sheep and cattle industry blueprints, Livestock SA’s ongoing work regarding deer management and a discussion arising from the recent Sherwood fire.
Members and guests will be welcomed from 6pm, with a complimentary barbecue tea to be served from 6.30pm, courtesy of Rabobank. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
To RSVP please contact Southern Region Secretary Tom Dawkins on 0402 406 965 or tom@dawkinsforthestate.com.au
