This free online event is designed for livestock producers to become familiar and build confidence with the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
The NLIS is Australia’s system for the identification and traceability of cattle, sheep and goats. NLIS reflects Australia’s and the livestock industries’ commitment to biosecurity and food safety, providing a competitive advantage in global markets.

- Using the database: General management; notifying the database; reports from the database.
- Availability of Integrity Systems Company specialists.
Presenters:
Kathleen Allan, Communication and Adoption Manager, Integrity Systems Company will provide insights into the functionality and value of NLIS in protecting Australia’s livestock industries in a global market place.
Greg Ferrier, Agriculture Victoria has extensive experience with the NLIS database and will provide participants with the opportunity to work in real-time on an NLIS account.
