Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin District Officer Russell Norman said the workshops have been designed to provide health tips and assist landholders improve lamb survival rates. It is about making every lamb count this season, particularly if landholders are looking to rebuild stock numbers.
“The workshops which commence at 7.00 am and finish at 11.00am will discuss pest and predator management techniques, bait types available and equipment for hire with plenty of time for questions.
“Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to watch a lamb autopsy undertaken by PIRSA, which can be a useful tool to help determine what may be the primary cause of lamb deaths.” he said.
