Pre-Budget Sheep and Goat eID Member Update with Q&A
In September 2022, governments mandated a change in the future requirements for sheep and goat movements and are transitioning from the current mob based visual system to an individual electronic identification system.
Livestock SA anticipated an announcement from the State Government about funding assistance to support this transition when the 2023-24 Budget was handed down on 15 June.
Ahead of any announcement, Livestock SA hosted a webinar to update producers on our advocacy work to date, which included a question and answer (Q&A) session.
