Board Members

The Board is comprised of up to ten Livestock SA members as outlined in the Livestock SA constitution.

Under the constitution, half of the Board members are up for election each year. Nominations are called up to three months before the Annual General Meeting, with current Board members able to re-nominate, as well as all Livestock SA members being invited to nominate.

Regional Groups

Livestock SA receives input directly from producers through two regions – the Northern Region, covering the pastoral zone, and the Southern Region, covering the South East. Regional groups meet at such times and in such as matter as they determine.

The regional boundaries are aligned with Landscape SA board regions as proclaimed under the Landscape South Australia Act 2019.

Producers within these regions are encouraged to attend meetings or contact their regional representative to discuss and contribute to the direction of policy.
